We are expanding our management team and are looking for an experienced deputy manager to support with the running of the nursery. We are a large nursery setting and would expect the candidates to be experienced and confidence to manage a large staff team. The main responsibilities will be supporting directors with day to day running of the nursery. This will include; carrying out staff supervisions and working together with staff to support their individual professional development, completing training plans and booking staff training, overseeing ratios and occupancy, monitoring child development progress and supporting team leaders to make positive improvements to the setting. We are looking for someone who has experience within a managerial role, who can be flexible and is eager to take on new challenges. We are committed to making continuous improvements to better the outcomes for children and creating a positive working environment and would like the deputy manager to support with this, bringing new ideas and working together with both directors. We expect all candidates to have sound knowledge of safeguarding policy and practice. All candidates must have excellent knowledge of the EYFS Framework, including statutory framework and the welfare requirements.
